CIMPOR, leader of the cement industry in Portugal and Cape Verde, was formed in March 1976. We are hiring Purchasing Specialist in our factory in Kribi

• To prepare tender documents for the purchase of goods and services that need to be purchased from the domestic and foreign markets, to make the necessary correspondence for the supply of proposals, 
• To carry out approval operations according to the principles of the Procurement Regulation and to ensure its control according to the conditions of the contract,  
• To follow up on the materials connected to the order, 
• To follow the delivery of the goods delivered to the Warehouse Department, to transfer the invoices to the Financial Affairs department,
• To carry out the transactions related to insurance works in coordination with the relevant departments,
• To carry out the necessary procedures for the creation of the Annual Purchase Budget
• To ensure that the file is transferred to the importing company carrying out the import operations following the determination of the company to be purchased as a result of the evaluation of the proposals and the completion of the approval process,
• To carry out the transactions related to the sale of scrap, to keep the documents issued after the sale,
• To evaluate products and suppliers in certain periods in accordance with the Quality Instructions and to report the results,
• To check the formulas for increase/decrease in contracts (fuel, inflation, etc.) in accordance with the periods, to calculate the increase/decrease prices and to take the necessary actions to reflect the prices.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of subcontractor regulations
