Poste proposé : Sales Manager - Douala
We are looking for a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities :
1.Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
2.Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve high performance.
- Assign sales territories, set individual goals, and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
3.Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare institutions, and distributors.
- Act as the main point of contact for high-value clients and negotiate major contracts.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any sales-related issues promptly.
4.Product Promotion & Sales Execution:
- Oversee the promotion of the company’s medical consumables and equipment to target markets.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to design and implement effective campaigns.
- Lead the introduction of new products to the market and educate clients on their benefits.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance through key metrics (e.g., revenue growth, client acquisition).
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports to the General Manager/CEO.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
6. Compliance & Market Knowledge:
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with Cameroon’s regulatory standards for medical products.
- Stay informed about developments in the healthcare sector and adapt strategies accordingly.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Sales Manager - Douala
Certificate : Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5-6 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the medical or healthcare sector.
Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the medical consumables and equipment market in Cameroon.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.
Type of environment
Primarily office-based with regular travel to meet clients, visit sales territories, and attend industry events.
Flexibility to work extended hours during key sales periods or major product launches.
