OPPORTUNITY
The British Higher Institute Of Science and Technology-Douala seeks Applications for a pool of part-time, non-tenure track lecturers to teach courses in the Bachelors Programs. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the school.

With our variety of STEAM courses we aim to be the leader in Anglo-Saxon education in Cameroon and beyond and be a reference for cutting edge research, at national level, in the next 10-15 years.

The institute engages itself to put in place an enabling environment to impact the students with the necessary practical aptitude and theoretical knowledge to ensure they are fully armed to face the professional world. In addition, the institute will build an evolving research platform supported by the available digital infrastructure to ensure students can collaborate and compete with their peers around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include:
- Attend at least one administrative meeting per semester, prepare course materials (e.g. syllabus), provide clear and prompt feedback on students work, grade students and propose practical sessions to be carriedout for engineering programs.
PROFILE
The successful candidates will be assigned to teach and will be incharge of students Tutoring. Endowed with teaching skills, the successful candidates must also have the following criteria;
- Be of a good moral attitude
- Be a Masters or Ph.D. holder in the corresponding fields
- Proof of professional experience is an added advantage
