Missions :

Operational Delivery :

• Ensure sustainable Brand presence across all Regions
• Work with the GSM Opco where required with regard to marketing initiatives
• Ensure alignment to Group Finco frameworks and guidelines
• Provide marketing support in the regions by planning for and providing timely Point of Sale (PoS), create product awareness through various trade and outlet activations and increasing brand visibility through various material like wall branding, billboards, pole signage, street and retail outlet signage among others
• Provide administrative support on all cross functional issues affecting the Trade in the various regions, including reports and financials.
• Build synergy with all support functions (Marketing, S&D, Technology and other departments.) to meet the overall Trade marketing objectives
• Coordinate all stakeholders in ensuring an updated and consistent look & feel in all Fintech outlets i.e. Service centers connect stores as per approved Group Corporate Identity guidelines
• Participate in tender meetings as a member and ensure that the trade marking interests are fully addressed
• Build and maintain healthy business relationships with all the trade and Marketing stakeholders and suppliers
• Co-ordinate the resolution of Trade Marketing supplier complaints/problems including payment queries
• Participate in tender meetings as a member and manage the related ‘Trade Support’ budget
• Draw market intelligence from internal and external networks to drive the retail strategy execution
• Ensure that the Fintech brand and commercial objectives are achieved through a collaborative effort of executing within the regions
• Undertake Fintech marketing portfolio including electronic media, outdoor, experiential activity, trade visibility among others

Education / Business Degree :

• Degree in Marketing and equivalent
• Relevant post graduate qualification is an advantage.

Work Experience :

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ total experience in Trade Marketing and Communications or allied field is required
• Experience in Fintech, banking or Mobile Money is preferred
• Experience in a retail trade marketing environment
• Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging markets is preferred.
