Job purpose :

Under the guidance of the batching plant responsible, the electrical Automobile Technician has to perform routine maintenance on trucks and inspect various parts of trucks while Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment. They ensure that parts are conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions.

Job activities :

• Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running
• Inspect various parts of trucks, such as signal and signalization systems
• Use different tools and equipment, such as electric testers and to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions
• Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devises such as electric system analyzers, handheld computers and chassis charts to determine how to address problems
• Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be
• Replace parts, bulbs, lamps and switches as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems
• Measure vehicle emissions to ensure they are in the proper limits
• Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions.

Qualifications and skills :

• High-school graduate in automobile mechanics option Electricity or any other related field (high-school +2 years university can be a plus)
• 3 year and above of working experience on trucks’  electric systems
• French and English (oral and written proficiency), required
• No travel restrictions
• Solid communication skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
• Team spirit.
