Description
Position: HR Assistant
Location: Yaoundé, Cameroon
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in the HR field with proven payroll management experience
Language Skills: Proficient in English and French (written and spoken)
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
  • Prepare and process accurate payroll for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Manage employee salary queries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
HR Administration:
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits and statutory contributions.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate records.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
Employee Relations:
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace environment.
  • Organize team-building activities and staff training sessions.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
  • Generate regular HR reports (e.g., attendance, turnover, payroll analysis).
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in HR, with hands-on experience in payroll processing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
  • Languages: Strong communication skills in English and French (mandatory).

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
