Description
A higher education school with satellite campuses in Cameroon, specializing in contemporary and future-oriented programs (Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Blockchain, Project Management, etc.), is launching a call for applications to recruit 01 Community Manager for positions based in Yaoundé.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributing to the development of the institute’s web communication strategy;
  • Creating content;
  • Publishing editorial content online;
  • Expanding communication on social media;
  • Building and energizing online communities;
  • Monitoring e-reputation.
Tasks will consist of:
  • Participating in the development of the institute’s social media communication strategy in coordination with Management ;
  • Proposing and creating content to post on social networks to maintain web presence (photos, images, videos, etc.) in line with strategic orientations, targeted objectives and the institution’s brand guidelines ;
  • Adapting editorial content (written content, newsletters, images, videos, photos, etc.) to feed the institute’s social media pages;
  • Communicating on behalf of the institute and its departments on social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and increasing its online visibility;
  • Running social media campaigns (paid and organic);
  • Monitoring the brand’s search engine presence;
  • Creating groups, encouraging exchanges, and building and retaining an engaged, friendly community (clients, bloggers, etc.);
  • Facilitating exchanges and responses to questions by sharing informative content, and, where relevant, organizing events to reach the target audience.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
  • Minimum of a 2-year post-secondary diploma (Bac +2) in Computer Science, Web Communication, Digital Marketing, Web Development or a related field;
  • At least two (2) years’ experience as a Community Manager;
  • Graphic/visual editing skills are a plus;
  • English s;
  • Strong skills in digital communication and good written expression;
  • Good command of communication media (web);
  • Knowledge of webmarketing tools.
