Poste proposé : Cybersecurity Analyst Junior - Yaoundé
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst Junior to join our dynamic security team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting the organization’s information systems, identifying and mitigating security threats, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity. This role requires a solid technical background in IT security or computer engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities and responding to incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Threat Monitoring & Detection: Continuously monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches or incidents using advanced security tools and technologies.
- Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and document findings. Develop and implement remediation strategies to minimize risks.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Regularly conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and penetration tests on company systems. Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified risks.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies and protocols to protect the integrity and confidentiality of company data.
- Security Awareness: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on security best practices and potential threats.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR) and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and maintain documentation on security activities and findings.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Cybersecurity Analyst Junior - Yaoundé
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Basic Cybersecurity awareness knowledge
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint security solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks.
- Understanding of network and web security protocols (e.g., SSL, TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with a vulnerability assessment tool.
Key Competencies:
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English and French. Ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Ability of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
