Description
On behalf of our client, a key player in the transit, logistics, and transport sector, SAASA B2E is recruiting a Field Officer to support and optimize operations in Douala and Kribi . This pivotal role offers the opportunity to manage customs-zone warehouses and oversee end-to-end import/export procedures at both national and CEMAC sub-regional levels. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership , autonomy , proactivity , humility , and a results-oriented mindset , with excellent knowledge of customs and logistics procedures.

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational & Logistics Management
- Oversee warehouse and storage operations in customs-controlled zones (Douala & Kribi).
- Ensure timely, compliant, and efficient handling of goods aligned with local and CEMAC customs regulations.
- Optimize processes related to receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution of goods.
- Apply and ensure adherence to import/export procedures and CEMAC customs standards .
- Review and validate the integrity and traceability of customs documentation.
- Coordinate with customs and port authorities to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
- Act as the primary liaison between field teams, logistics partners (carriers, freight forwarders), and company headquarters.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on field activities, operational performance, and incidents
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Logistics , International Trade , Customs , Supply Chain , or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years in logistics , customs operations , or port-related activities .
- Sound knowledge of transit and customs procedures , especially CEMAC regulations .
- Hands-on experience with import/export processes in the sub-region.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management tools (eg, WMS, ERP systems ).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership , initiative , adaptability , and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, operational settings.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and humble approach to teamwork.
